The document is a result of the archeological and dendrochronological studies of the old "Country Store". Fascinating reading. Upon reflection the original section of this building may very well have been the slaves' quarters so often mentioned in the anecdotal history of Glenburn. Enjoy!
On September 14, 2010 the Riverdale Land Conservancy and the Riverdale Art Center sponsored The Art of Food Festival, featuring food tasting, jazz ensemble and art auction. Local chefs provided their personal culinary delights to the more than 200 patrons attending the first annual festival. The evening ended on a high note with the art depicting the The Glenburn and Appelt Park being auctioned as a fund raiser for the two non-profits. 

Our new 1200 square foot pavilion has been erected at The Glenburn. It is available as a rental for events, family reunions, company picnics, etc. Along with the two new bathrooms in the barn at The Glenburn, this becomes another first class Riverdale facility.
In June 2009 Loehmann's Department Store used the Glenburn Estate as the background for a photo shoot to used in their autumn catalog. Here are photos of behind the scenes.
