Councilman Mike Kheyfets

Michael Kheyfets is a 20-year resident of Riverdale with a long-standing, community-centric public service record.  

Through his personal experiences, Councilman Kheyfets developed a core commitment to civic participation, service to others and the betterment of the community by way of personal responsibility and development through workforce and educational initiatives.  

Elected to the Riverdale School Board in 2013, Councilman Kheyfets served as a trustee for five years before being elected to the Riverdale Burough Council where he has served since 2018. Improving the quality of life for residents by enhancing infrastructure, maintaining low taxes, and expanding the quality of services for hardworking families has always been his motivation.  

During his time in town he has been active in the community as a wrestling and football coach, Member of the PLRO Board, member of Riverdale CERT, and a number of state and national workforce and educational initiatives.  

Outside of public service, Councilman Kheyfets is the President & Chief Operating Officer for Aztec Software, the preeminent Adult Learning company in the country based in Springfield NJ.  Aztec’s mission is to provide adults academic and occupational upskilling in order to increase their earning potential.  

Councilman Kheyfets and his wife, Luci, are parents to Michael J. Kheyfets and love being a part of the Riverdale Community
