Community Center
The Borough of Riverdale is pleased to announce that the Riverdale Senior Community Center will reopen for Saturday and Sunday afternoon rentals beginning March 1, 2026.
The Community Center will be available for private resident use on weekends only, providing Riverdale residents with an affordable and convenient venue for family gatherings, celebrations, and community events. Rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be reserved up to three (3) months in advance.
Rental eligibility, fees, permitted hours, and facility rules are outlined in the Community Center Rental Application and Agreement, which has been attached for residents’ review and use. Completed applications, along with all required documentation and payments, must be submitted to the Borough for consideration.
Key highlights include:
- Rentals available Saturdays and Sundays based on availability.
- Permited hours between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Resident-only rentals (applicant must be a Riverdale resident age 25 or older)
- Renter must be present for the entire duration of the event.
- Flat rental fee, refundable security deposit, and required on-site supervision
Residents are encouraged to carefully review all requirements prior to submitting an application to ensure compliance with Borough policies.
