Celebrate Earth Day with Riverdale's first annual Community Clean-up Day, Saturday, April 26, from 9 AM to 11 AM!  We're inviting volunteers from the community to help us clean up the Borough after the long winter. This is a great way to get outside, meet your neighbors, and help make Riverdale and New Jersey a nicer place to live. Discarded trash is unsafe for walkers, hikers, and cyclists, as well as pets and other animals. It can clog and pollute waterways and contaminate the ground. Let’s put it where it belongs!

 

Details: The Borough will provide garbage bags and gloves. Please wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, full-length pants, and dress for the weather.

 

Teams: We'll assign teams to different areas and ask for your preferences closer to the date. We will also let you know where your team is meeting. If you are part of a group, just let us know on the sign up form. All ages and abilities are welcome.

 

Volunteer Credit: Will be provided if needed.

 

Rain Date: In case of heavy rain, we'll schedule a rain date.
